Strategic Campus Development Fund
As The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong evolved from Hang Seng School of Commerce to Hang Seng Management College, with nearly a half-century of history, our infrastructure including the M Building and “Site C” area (comprising the Old Hall, Staff Quarters, M Canteen, outdoor swimming pool and tennis court) faces substantial and pressing restoration needs. The ageing facilities and space shortages now hinder our ability to support the growing student population, academic programmes and research projects.
To address these challenges, the “Strategic Campus Development Fund” will support the substantial costs of M Building restoration as well as a “Site C” redevelopment project by phases. The project aims to transform underutilised land space to alleviate our pressing floor space shortages. As the University’s current reserves cannot meet this immediate funding need, we desperately need to secure more donations and finances to support these strategic developments.
